The Empty Tomb
Jesus died and was buried in a tomb, but he didn't stay there! He left the tomb completely empty so that you could live completely full - full of LIFE.
Because of the sacrifice that Jesus made, we don't have to just "hang on and wait for His return." Instead, we can live whole. We can be healed, forgiven, and set free!
Easter is the day that reminds us that Jesus took stripes on His back so that we don't have to live with sickness anymore. It reminds us that we don't have to live in defeat, because He already defeated death, hell, and the grave!
It's the desire of the enemy that we would stay empty, but God's desire is that we would be filled to overflowing. His desire is that we can do all that He has called us to do from a place of full joy, hope, peace, and life!
