Week Three: The Favor of God
In part three of this Nehemiah series, Pastor Chuck teaches us about the Favor of God.
Favor is something that should be sought after. Every covenant child of God has access to favor with God and man through Jesus Christ.
God looked upon Nehemiah with favor because:
1. He was a man of God.
2. He was a man of prayer.
3. He was open to the voice of the Lord and obeyed.
4. He was humble.
5. He was hard working.
6. He was kind and compassionate.
7. He was a gracious leader.
These are many of the qualities that attract God.
Because of God's favor, Nehemiah was able to complete the wall in record time in spite of his team and circumstances.
Here is the good news for us...where we often fall short of earning the favor of God, Jesus did all of the work for us. If you are in Christ, you are covered in the favor of the Lord. Today you can walk boldly in that favor!
